Clara is our stunningly beautiful two bedroom cottage that can accommodate up to 4. It has recently been described as “a lovely, cosy, comfortable, spacious cottage with all the mod cons.”
A walkers retreat, after exploring one of the many walks from the door come back and relax in the hot tub in the private garden. Offering pure luxury on a starry night. Sit back, relax and enjoy the view.
The spacious bedrooms offer a quiet resting place after accomplishing one of the many walks or cycle rides. The upstairs bedroom boasts a super king size bed that can be separated into 2 single beds. A comfy chair next to the window allows you to relax listening to the robin or embracing the sun streaming through. The large comfortable beds are a dream!
The downstairs bedroom comprises of a double bed with dressing table and space to unpack and unwind. There are two bathrooms, the upstairs bathroom has a luxurious freestanding bath. Bring your candles, enjoy the complimentary bottle of prosecco and relax in bubble heaven. This bathroom also has a shower and it is large enough for a bathroom party if you so wish! The downstairs toilet and shower room next to the second bedroom gives added comfort.
The lounge area has two very comfortable settees surrounding the log burning fire. Snuggle up in the colder evenings with your favourite book or watching one of your programmes from the large Smart TV. Come spring, summer, autumn or winter the patio doors leading to the private outside eating space can be used with the BBQ and seating area. The wood burner provides a cosy touch on the cooler nights.
The open plan kitchen (equipped with dishwasher, microwave, oven and hob) , dining area and lounge provides a space to relax with family or friends. Outside the front of the cottage is parking for one car and the overflow carpark can take another car. If desired the car can be left here for your stay as you explore the many walks from the door. Eyam Museum aims to open Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 with last admission at 15:15. The museum closes at 16:00. It is advisable to pre book tickets on the website. The museum will give you a real insight into the history of Eyam and the details of the plague through detailed local accounts of how it spread, who died and who survived.
